Message from
the President: Hello All! Hope you and the bunns are staying cool!
Amy Spang and I have switched places, she resigned as President because she needed more time with her family, I succeeded her as President and appointed her Vice President since she'd be the best person to take over if I should have to leave for any reason. Amy has been wonderful for this club and I am glad she is there to back me up. Around here everyone is getting clipped down, cages are being scrubbed, and we had one last litter born for the season. I won't be showing again until Fall, since the heavy coats on my Giants make warm weather showing pretty much out of the question. Bob has some Satin Angoras now, however, so you "might" see him pop up at a show someday. Speaking of the Fall, UARC is sponsoring specialty shows in Easton, MD on September 25th and in Painesville, OH on October 9th. Details will be located on the Upcoming Events page of the UARC website. We hope to see you there! Reminder, if you are participating in the sweepstakes program this year, please send copies of all your show reports to sweeps@unitedangorarabbitclub.org. All ARBA shows count, as long as you're showing angoras! It's also election time, you should have received your ballots in the mail recently, if not please let me know. Please vote and return your ballots by July 15th. I hope to meet many of our Midwest members at Convention this November. If you've never been to one, you should go. It is intense, very tiring, but fun! Janet Gruber UARC President |
